Planes and cars! Oct. 10, 2014

Today we defied gravity! The plane ride was long! It was approximately 3hr. and 56min. Before we departed, we found a "magic" drinking fountian! After our arrival in Baltimore, we took a shuttle to the car rental place and rented a car. We drove from Baltimore to Pennsylvania.

In Pennsylvania we ate dinner at a Costco! Chase and I split a piece of pizza. The pizza was really good! We bought food for along the way. We bought water and snack foods. We are staying in a town called "King of Prussia" Why it is called that, no idea.

Exhausted, but having fun!

  1. Kate, you made me curious so I looked up the history behind "King of Prussia". The town was named after a local tavern, the King of Prussia Inn. The tavern was named after the actual King of Prussia, Frederick the Great, who reigned in the 1700's. Prussia was a German kingdom.

I'm glad you had a good travel day! It's funny how plane rides are really just sitting, but it makes you tired anyway. Lauren and I are the only ones home to read your blog-Dad is biking with the YM in Moab, and Rachel is performing at the Shakespearean Festival. They will have to catch up on Sunday. Lauren and I will do the usual Saturday chores (I know you are so bummed about missing that LOL) then help build sets for the school play. We miss you and hope today is fascinating and fun!
